Hello, I’m still learning the syntax of the NSClient configuration file, so I expect to ask a couple of questions bout the CheckLogFile module. For now, I wanted to know if this is possible.
We have a Tomcat server. I want to monitor the logs for an error string. The problem is that the log name takes the format: C:\Tomcat\Logs\Tomcat7-sterr.yyyy-MM-dd.log Where “yyyy-MM-dd” is the timestamp of the log file. Every time the service is restarted, the timestamp can be different.
Is there a way to filter log names, for example Tomcate7-sterr.*.log, using check_logfile?
