Clean migration from0.3 to 0.5

We are using Nagios/Icinga monitoring since years and on our (windows) systems we are using NSClient 0.3. We experiencing some issues on some systems and planning to upgrade NSClient minimun to 0.4 but most likely to 0.5 (latest).

The problem is that I dont have access to the core server (i am only the windows server administrator) and I am not very familiar with the whole topic. The guy who installed the NSclient first didnt work for my company anymore too.

So I tried to just update the nsclient by simply installing the new release without success. Is there a clean migration guide/walkthrough/best practice to update my agents?
