Exclude and do not output performance data when running a check_nrpe command

#1

Im doing some checks using check_nrpe and the check_pdh command and I do not want the performance data.

How can I exclude/ignore it?

Here is a example:

./check_nrpe -H myhost -t 30 -c check_pdh -n -a ‘counter=\Processor Information(_Total)% Processor Time’ ‘warn=value>10’ ‘crit=value>20’ ‘time=5m’

What would I add to that to ignore and not give any performance data output?

#2

I think this is it-

perf-config=“level(ignored:true)”

That’s from the event log check, and it doesnt generate any perf data

#3

Adding

‘perf-config=*(ignored:true)’

To the end doesnt generate performance data.

So the end result:

/check_nrpe -H myhost -t 30 -c check_pdh -n -a ‘counter=\Processor Information(_Total)% Processor Time’ ‘warn=value>10’ ‘crit=value>20’ ‘time=5m’ ‘perf-config=*(ignored:true)’

Thanks.
